    Portable baby crib

I will be taking my 7 months old baby on a vacation in September and I need to bring a crib/playpan for her to sleep. Is there a light and portable one that I can buy. If yes, where can I get it from?

    Many thanks

are you staying in a hotel? if so, you can just request one from them and save yourself the agony of dragging one with you.

B2B, Eugene's, Wing On etc...all sell them, but not sure if there is really a light one for a 7 month year old....

ToysR'us also have some. I saw a couple on sale on their catalog. We brought our Graco Pack'n'Play playpen on a recent trip for our 6 month old (bought it at Eugene). It's easy to assemble but not super comfy as a bed. Baby didn't sleep well the first couple nights but gotten used to it later. It's easy to fold up and assemble but a bit heavy. Keep the box so you can check it in easily.

We bought this Phil & Teds travel cot at Bumps to Babes and love it. philandteds.com - sleep - traveller

We first tried it at 5 months and our son has always slept well in it.

I also got the Phil and Teds one and love it. We just used it on a month and a half trip traveling through the US. It is only about 2kg in weight and once you figure out how to set it up, very easy to use. I spent a lot of time researching the travel cots and my top criteria was lightweight for travel (besides safe and comfortable!). A lot of people like the Baby Bjorn one but I ended up with Phil and Teds because it is slightly longer (so child will be able to use it longer) and lighter in weight. Bumps to Babes carries both of these.
