Need help and advice - 6 weeks3days low heart rate
Hi everyone
It's my first time on this forum. Need some help and advice.
My best friend is having a problem in her pregnancy. She is 6 weeks 3 days and has a fetal heart rate of 73 bpm. She's been told when there is a heart rate this low there is a 90% chance of miscarriage. She's really upset and losing hope and I'm worried about her.
Has anyone experienced something like this in their first trimester and had a healthy baby? I really want to help my friend so would appreciate all the information and suggestions possible.
Also here is an update with her doc - Last Friday her HCG was 36000, it went to 46000 on Sunday and then 56000 on Tuesday.
Any advice possible would be very appreciated. thanks so much.

I think the first time I heard and saw my baby heart beat was around week 8. I think week 6 is still early. I think the heart just start to beat at around week 6, and at this point, sometime they cannot even see the heart beat on the ultrasound.
Probably the embryo is fine. At least the rising HCG is a good sign. Probably your friend will see a much stronger heart beat on her next ultrasound.
