Shopping list for the baby-to-come !!
I am in my 3rd trimester & expecting our first baby in Sept !
I know a baby comes with a long shopping list ?.being first time parents we would appreciate your inputs/help in planning our shopping list.
We intend to buy as many things as possible/ feasible before hand to save time & energy later?this also helps to choose things peacefully & search for the best/economical place to shop.
Would appreciate if all you experienced parents can share a list of things to buy, with recommended brands & places to shop.
Thanks in advance!!

the problem with recommending the "best" of anything is that everyone has different opinions on what is best.
to one mother, it could be the cheapest... to another, a famous brand... to another, selection... you see the problem?
you can try:
bumps to babes (good selection, european products, ridiculous prices)
eugene club (ok selection, lots of japanese products... expensive prices)
wing on (ok selection on some things, med-expensive prices)
ikea furniture (small selection, cheap prices)
mothercare, gracco, chico etc. (small selection of their own products, expensive prices)

I'd say buy the basics and wait until the baby is born with the rest. You will get a lot of presents (clothes, toys) You might not need breast pump or choose to decide on the one that suits your needs later.
Babies don"t use wipes or soap when they are very little just cotton wool and water. I'd say get the cot/moses basket if you wish/bath/changing table and pram plus the basic minimum. I just went to the shops before the baby and made in case list and hen send my husband to buy the rest.
Of course as a first time mum I bought things and never used like bottle warmer/ wipes warmer/ very petty play mat that my babe wasn't interested in until the third month etc.
Some of the lists you get are crazy but I did like the geobaby one:)

yes, the list provided by bumps to babes is totally insane....
newborns need very little, especially if you are breastfeeding.

all the major stores have their own list (you can ask for these for free), even toys r us has a 'baby list of things to get'
do NOT get everything on these lists though, most are unnecessary
