Hi - Trying to find someone who has "been there done that" in regards to an American living in Hong Kong who adopted from China. Finally after a very long 3.5 years our adoption is coming full circle and we hope to go meet our new little girl in October!!!!
As Americans living abroad we have 6 months before we need to get back to the US for our child's naturalization. Having said that HK immigration is telling us that our daughter will only be able to "visit" HK for 7 days without her new passport. Looking to find out if there is anyone who has BTDT and can offer some guidance.
