Now my baby isnt sucking as much but when she does it is horrible. There's one time she hurt inside her mouth (little bit bleeding). I think its due to her finger nails. I wonder why my baby's nails grow so fast, i need to clip it like once a week?

    Hi Taysty,

I also felt the need to control this when my kids were babies. Especially, when friends came and held their hands to greet them. I'm fine with this gesture but I can't help but think that germs were passed on.

Also, I did not want them to make this a habit. I've seen kids thumb-sucking until they're older and their teeth and lips were damaged.

What I did was play a game with their hands (patty-cake) or sing a nursery rhyme while clapping their hands to the beat.

    Good tip. Thank you.

Sad to say, now i'm back to a bad mum as many would say to not let the baby explore the world. The reason is she is too extreme, she will stuck her fingers so far that she will pew out some milk that she just drank. :(

so cute! My kids were like this before, I can hear that sound in my ear now. :-) But they outgrew it and so will your little angel! A little destruction might help ;-)

tasty... i know english is not your first language, so please don't take this the wrong way...

    Puke: vomit, be sick
Pew: the bench seat in a church

and a side note: the amount that she pukes out won't be significant. it looks like a lot, but it isn't really...
