    Chicken / Vegetable Stock

    Hi
I am wanting to start my 7 month old on chicken and all my recipes say use chicken / veg stock. Now with my first, I made my own stock but dont really fancy doing that again. Which stock can I buy here? What am I looking for on the labels? Low sodium? Low salt?

    Thanks

Best in my opinion and as close to homemade is Pacific Organic chicken stock.

C has homemade meals except for the stock because I don't have the time (during the week). I simply use any organic and low sodium. There are two brands (in general) at my supermarket. I also check the ingredients to see if there's anything I don't approve of.

But on the weekends, I do make homemade stock. Gina Ford has an easy recipe - I'll bring a photocopy on Friday if you'd like it. And oh, I freeze them in the ice cube trays (but it gets used up by mid-week by H - for his meals).

    Cheers!

I look for low sodium and also made somewhere other than China. I think the Heinz one is made in China so I avoid it.

Taste sometimes has it, but I know ThreeSixty always carries it.
