Meat recipes for picky toddler?
My toddler has always been a picky eater and I am starting to worry he is not getting enough protein.
He takes a bottle (6oz) of formula at night but doesnt like cow milk. He used to eat yogurt but not anymore(not even ice-cream ). He eats pasta/rice/noodles and some vege but doesnt really eat meat. He only eat ham (or turkey or roast beef slices), shrimps, and sometimes tofu. He would eat the roast pork from very good restaurant(which is soft and tasty), fried fish finger and a bit of chicken on occasion .
Not sure if it's texture (he doesn't like ground beef or pork) or he's lazy to chew(but he eat crispy bacon that's hard). He also doesn't like eggs. Luckily he eats American cheese and parmesan cheese on pasta.
So, any good yummy tender meat recipes?

how about just doing fried rice with it or with noodles? just cut it up very small at the start so he doesn't have to chew too much of it and gets use to the taste. my 3 year old son loves steak and we usually give it to him a stir fry and i marinate the steak in olive oil and soy sauce w/a little salt and pepper. we load up the stir fry with his favorite veggies and rice.

Weelicious is great. Also try breaded chicken strips or fish maybe that has lots of flavour. I put lots of spices in the bread crumb mixture. You could also try tofu? We also put lentils in a thicker congee dish with lots of veggies. I will roast a piece of salmon and divide that into equal portions and add that to the congee.

i do bolognese sauce / minced pork cooked in sweet corn sauce / fresh roasted chicken ....yes FRESH and FRESH steamed fish! i basically have to hide the meat - or make sure it is not tough to chew or my toddler is lazy to chew.

My girl has oral defensiveness. She doesn't eat that much meat and no fish, no eggs and no carrots, no peas nor potatoes. But everything else she eats: string cheese, strawberries, mac and cheese, rice, noodles. I feed her peanut butter and she likes pistachios. One thing I can get her to eat is wonton ... Ground pork, egg, veggie all in one! I do that dish once a week.

Have a look in recipe forum here. Lots of good ideas for picky eaters.
I have one listed that was a huge success with my picky eater. It was a meat patty with hidden veg.
Cheers

If you have kids with low muscle tone in the mouth and they seemed to like a bit heavy flavored food you may want to introduce spices in meat. My 5 year old eat chilly food and he loves curry. I also took an Indian cooking class. You can create some fusion dishes. The dish doesn't have to be chilly, but flavorful other than just salty. Cinnamons, five spices, gram masala, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, etc.
