    summer activity ideas for toddler

    Hi Ladies,

we will be around for the summer and i was hoping to enroll my daughter 34mth old to summer classes for the month of July. there are plenty out there - but the catch is I would like her to enroll in a Cantonese speaking one...and i'm not finding anything (perhaps looking in the wrong places - everything is English or Mandarin)...does anyone have any recommendations? Would really appreciate it!

    Thanks

    Hi,

I work in local kindergartens in the New Territories and at this time of year there are flyers everywhere for summer courses. Of course there are the English and Potunghua but we have seen, (for toddlers), Hip Hop, Jazz, Ballet, Music, Swimming, Tae Kwon Do, Art - there is the summer camp at Tai Tong. All of these are in Cantonese.

My advice, go to a few local kindergartens, take a local with you if you can and ask about their summer programmes, you will find some really cool stuff, I'm sure your hardest decision will be choosing which ones to enroll in!!

I plan to enroll my 3yrs old to a mandarin drama course at central, and hire a tutor to play with my kids at home for the rest of time. and Of course, go for a vacation with them!
