About the pads, I find the maternity pads of the brand kotex too bulky and uncomfortable to use.

I got the shells at Eugenes, but I think you can get them at any mom/baby store, like B2B or Mothercare - should just be in the same section as all the storage bags, pumps, etc.

I would consider taking a light weight cardigan to the hospital so that when you do the skin-to-skin contact you can have your shoulders covered. Mothers have told me that this makes them feel more dressed and thus more comfortable, especially when they had visitors.

Does the Matilda provide baby clothes for the duration of the baby's stay at the hospital?

Oh crap, I just bought a pack of the Kotex maternity pads. Which brand would you recommend then?

I was wondering the same thing about baby clothes...when I visited my niece at Matilda she was all swaddled up...probably just a diaper underneath!

I think it's call Perry. Easily found in Jusco maternity department. Packaging is greenish/blue in colour.
