    What's your favorite pregnancy book?

Once you found you were pregnant, you may have gone out and bought a handful of pregnancy books, but there were probably one or two you came back to time and again. What's your favourite pregnancy book?

By far, My favorite are written by Singaporian/malaysian authors where they include cooking recipes for pregnancy n post natal care. Similar books available in Hk are not bilingual or translated. ( I can't read Chinese)

It depends on what you are looking for. I thought the What to Expect book was good for seeing the stages of pregnancy and looking up to check concerns but the Kaz Cooke ones (Up the Duff etc) are good entertainment value!

I'll second the What to Expect while your Expecting books, and don't forget about books pertaining to the first year. It's when you get the baby home for the first time that you realize you are woefully unprepared for caring for the LO once they're here.

Our Dr recommended Miriam Stoppard, so we bought her Conception/Pregnancy bible first.

And for Dad, Armin Brott has a good series. We bought The Expectant Father first, http://www.shopinhk.com/product.php?productid=8115412

    And then got the others.

Missidealiste- please share which malaysian/chinese book! I'm looking for recipes for my upcoming delivery. With my first baby, I practically lived off the "What to expect when you're expecting" book. I also found the mayo clinic book helpful for after the baby was born.
