Where to live?
We are a Danish couple with two small children (2 months and 3 years) who are considering moving to HK. Our living allowance Will be 10.000 hkdollars but we hope to be able to add another 5.000 ourselves. We have heard good things about Sai Kung, Discovery Bay and Tung Chung. What would you recomend when we have small children and would like to live near other westerners?

Hi
Are you meaning HK$10 - 15,000 a month for rent/housing? Rent is extremely expensive in HK and from a quick search I would say that $10 -15K will get you a small place in Discovery Bay - between 500 - 800sq ft according to Square Foot site:

Sai Kung and Tung Chung may be a better bet for a bigger place. Check the Square Foot site (or other real estate agent sites) for ideas on prices.
Good luck with the possible move. If you are still at the negotiation stage with employers here, think about asking for a schooling allowance as schooling is also very expensive here.
