    Baby friendly hotels in Hk

A friend is trying to decide where to stay, and don't want to spend a fortune but somewhere clean. any recommendations? They want to go to Disneyland HK, and was wondering if they should book a hotel in that area? Not really sure about what area's a good area to stay. any info or insight would be greatly appreciated!*

Disneyland HK has an on-site hotel, but I can't tell you whether it's any good. Your friend would do well to check out the impartial reviews on http://www.tripadvisor.com. Might be a good idea to stay at the Disney hotel for one night since they are planning to visit the theme park. However, if they also wish to do some proper sightseeing around HK, the Disney hotel will not be very convenient location-wise.

The Disney hotels are really nice and kid friendly. Some of my relatives stayed a while back. And there's plenty of green space nearby. Not sure about the price though -- they may be expensive. But at least they would save on the hassle and cost of transport.

There is also the Novotel at Tung Chung.

Though, tell your friend to beware that while Disney / Tung are very convenient for going to, well, Disney and the airport, it's not exactly close to the center of town. If they're mostly concerned with having space for their kids, that's fine. But it's not going to be convenient if they want to shop / eat / party downtown.
