    1st check up blood test

Hi all, can you please help to advise if they take blood test in the first check up? I am trying to decide if i should have breakfast before hand or not.
For my appointment, i think i recall the receptionist said i can have breakfast but if i am going to take blood test, is that usually better without any food?
    I am confused.

I went through it recently and they did take blood, but still said I could have breakfast before the appointment...

Thanks a lot Tracey. So it means they will take your blood test regardless you have breakfast or not :) It's good to know. I guess i should have breakfast coz i am still dealing with morning sickness.

Yeah, for me they told me on the phone when I made the appointment that I could have breakfast... I did the checkup at Tsan Yuk hospital, but I'm pretty sure it'll be the same everywhere... As far as I know it's only for the diabetes test later on that you cannot have breakfast...
