New to HK and pregnant with twins
Hi, I am just in early stages of pregnancy with twins and wondered if there are any other new expectant mums out there that would like to meet for tea and a chat? I am trying to work out where to even begin with choosing a doctor and hospital, having twins is making this decision harder. Would love to hear from anyone in the same boat? :-)

Hi EmilieCR, I am pregnant with twins (27 weeks) and happy to meet for a chat. There's also a group you can join - Mothers of Multiples - full of twin mums who organize meet ups and can give you advice. I know it's all very daunting at first. Are these your first?

Hi Liquorice, yes these are my first. I'm only in my 8th week so early days but I'm getting very worried and confused about which doctor and hospital to choose because of having twins and added complications. I feel I'm getting ahead of myself but realize that you need to make these decisions early. I have heard of that group, thank you I will check it out. That would be great to meet up, do you work or can you meet in the week? I am living in mid levels but can travel to meet you?

Emilie, I used a lovely Dr Dominic Li in Wing On House. He is really helpful and kind but because of other comlications had to refer me to QMH. He works with the Sanatorium and I had a surgery with him which went very well and easy recovery when everyone told me that surgery was a terrible one to recover from so I think he must be good. My twins will be born March 19th at QMH with Dr Charas Ong, who is also transfering to a place called the Well Women clinic in Central Building but they are moving across the street. She will join them on the 28th of April so you could try either of them. Kris

Hi Emilie, I realised this is an old thread but I recently moved to HK and am expecting twins as well. It looks like our due date might be close too (23 Sept)? Would be great to meet you and other twin mums-to-be - please let me know if there is a plan to meet up!
