    Proof of address

Anyone know if I can use a mobile phone bill with just hubby's name on as proof of address? Don't see why it would be an issue as I must bring a copy of his HKID too. TIA

Take your marriage certificate with you. They may or may not accept it without it.

if you're talking about hiring a helper, proof of address must be a utility bill. if you don't have one a bank statement would come close, but I had problems last time with the latter....at the end I had to bring both my telephone bill (home - land line) and my marriage certificate as the name on my bill and my name on my ID are different.

When I registered, I did so with a hand addressed envelope that had been posted and then received at the given address (which was actually my FIL's house).

    Hi there,

I registered at Queen Elizabeth with just 1 PCCW bill addressed to my friends house (As I used her address because she lives in Jordan - I live in the catchment area of Tuen Mun Hospital but my preference is QEH).

It wasn't even in my name, I had no copy of her ID but they didn't ask any questions.

To be honest, I think as long as you don't ask many questions regarding this issue they wont either.. Your husbands bill will be fine :)

    Congratulations! ^^

Perfect. I had my first at QMH and now we've moved and are in Princess M catchment area but realized hubby still has his mobile bill addressed to our old address :) I prefer to stay with the familiar and go back to QMH.
