Go purple this month.

March is Epilepsy Awareness Month and Hong Kong charity group, Enlighten–Action for Epilepsy, is launching their “Paint the Town Purple” campaign, as lavender is the universal color associated with Epilepsy.

The campaign aims to eliminate misconceptions and provide more educated perspectives about epilepsy. The group also seeks to inform others about first aid procedures in the event of a seizure or how to help those affected by a seizure.

Additionally, Enlighten has organized a range of activities and promotions to be featured various shops and venues throughout the city in celebration of Epilepsy Awareness Month.

Some of their promotions include:

Purple macarons from Brasserie de l'Ile and cupcakes from Sweet Secrets and ****es Cupcakes.

Wear purple on March 26 and visit the Candle Company to receive 10% off all regular priced items.

Also, take your kids out for Purple Ice Cream from XTC Gelato on March 26 (Official Purple Day).
