    videos for toddlers

Does anyone know of good videos for toddlers/pre-K children...and where to get these?

I had one video as a gift and now my 1 1/2 year old daughter loves to watch it, and has learned lots of new "motions" from it. But this is the only one we have!

    Any recommendations?

Esp. these days when she can't go out much, I think it's a good way for her to learn and have some fun.

    Doris,

Dhruv has just started watching Sesame Street and he loves it. We have Do the Alphabet with Big Bird. We got ours at Amazon.

I've also heard Count With Me with Bert is also good .

The Wiggles is also popular. I think they're available in HMV.

Teletubbies are good, you can get them at most Blockbuster video stores here in HK, in Cantonese or English.

A good mail-order source of Britishkids videos is http://www.blackstar.co.uk I have been very pleased with the "Rosie and Jim" videos, more slow paced and relaxed than Sesame Street, although Elmo videos were also a big hit in our house. Blackstar also has Noddy, Bill and Ben the Flowerpot men, and other good kids TV shows.

Stepping Stones has some videos, like Dragontales from the USA which are OK for older kids, but I think they're a bit overpriced.

Dhruv's Sesame Street library has increased. He now watches

    123 Count with Me
    Kids Favorite Songs 1 & 2

And he's still fascinated by them all. For some reason, Kermit the Frog is his favorite character and he just can't stop giggling every time he sees him.

Don't forget to have a look at our selection of DVDs on the GeoBaby Store
