hi, i did this when my daughter was just 4.5 months old....she did cry...but only for 5 mins. Also one of my friend did this when her daughter was just 3 months old. Isabella is nice shop...and they pierce both the ears together....so,pains only one time....you just have to clean the ears with the medicated spirit everyday twice for 3 months or so. Also my sister in law did for her daughter when she was 1 yr 10 months old. Where as she cried longer time. My daughter did not touch/pull her ears.

We got our daughter's ears pierced at Isabella in Queensway when she was about 3.5 months old. She cried a bit but we had timed it close to her feed time so just gave her milk and she calmed down. They're pretty used to piercing babies ears two people do it at the same time so the baby is disturbed only once!She's now 5.5 months and hasn't touched her ears - we were advise dto do it while she's young so she doesn't play / pull on her ears.

The Isabella we went to was in Queensway - along the walkway where there's a Calvin Klein, Tie Rack, Wanko and Veeko (not sure if still there now).

Can call 1081 and get the number and the address.
 
Thanks for the info Roshna. I called Isabella and was told I need to get the earrings from them. I'd rather use those which have just been given to my daughter as a gift from her godfather. Would you know of any other good and reliable place where they can use my daughter's own earrings? Thanks a lot.

as far as i know, the isabella earrings are hypoallergenic and highly recomended for babies sensitive ears. Everyone i know has used Isabella ones first and eventually, changes to their own earrings once babies ears are well healed, no infection, etc.

I personally kept the isabella ones on up to about for about 7-8 months after the piercing.

how long does it take for the baby's ear to well-healed? and how do you make sure that they don't pull at the ears? my daughter is 2, i'm sure she'll pull at it. when is a good age to make sure that she won't pull?
 
My daughter is two and I was also worried that she would pull at her ears ... but she doesn't! I don't know if she will after a while but so far, it's fine. She would point at her ears to show her earrings but would not touch them. Good luck!

Roshna, did you join the aftercare service to monitor the healing progress?
